EFT and Emotrance
What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a meridian energy therapy – a form of psychological acupressure. It involves a simple tapping with the fingertips on the meridians throughout the body, while doing this we say and think a positive statement.
The combination of tapping the meridians and saying the positive affirmation helps to clear the emotional charge from the body, thus restoring the body’s balance.
It is a very gentle technique with instant and long lasting results, you take no medication, there is no special equipment involved and you will be able to self-administer.
EFT is a therapy that can clear long held emotional patterns which are having a detrimental effect on your life – physical symptoms, feelings, emotions and behaviours.

What can I expect from a session?
I will try to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as I can. We will then fill in a consultation sheet together which will help me to understand what would be most helpful to you.
Taking what we have chosen to work on we will choose together a statement that will suit you.
Here is an example:
If we decided to work on your fear of heights the statement could be “Even though I am afraid of heights I totally love and accept myself”. While saying this and staying with the feeling I will tap your energy meridians and clear emotional blockages around this problem.
If we remove the emotional charge around a problem then we can help to heal the physical problem.
A session will last about an hour and we can discuss how many sessions you feel you may need.
So what is Emotrance?
Emotrance is an extension of EFT using techniques developed by Dr. Silvia Hartmann, PhD. This form of meridian therapy works on a deep level and working on where the energy is felt in the body.
Emotrance is all about removing blockages and allowing energy to flow easily within the body at all levels.
Energy is entering and leaving our body all the time. Our interactions with others and our environment involve energy exchanges. It is when we hold on to energy or block energy out that problems can then start to occur on a physical, mental or emotional level in our body. Emotrance works on establishing how and where this energy is disrupted.
What can Emotrance help with?
Emotrance addresses the same areas as EFT but the difference lies in its directness – this therapy goes right to where the energy disruption is felt within the body. It can work on a very deep and profound level and allow the energy to flow freely within the body.
It is a simple and yet very powerful therapy.
